An Awareness-Raising, Fund-Raising Event
Benefiting The Morton Center
In celebration of our 27th anniversary, a bunch of wonderful people, 27 to be exact, will open their hearts and their homes for The Morton Center. Each will invite several of their friends — old and new — for a great meal and even greater conversation.
Here are the basics for 27/27, The Morton Center’s celebration of 27 grateful years:
WHO: 27 hosts and hundreds of guests. All to say thanks for 27 years of helping heal thousands of families throughout Kentucky who’ve been torn apart by alcoholism and other addictions.
WHERE: Some of the most interesting, loving and creative homes in Louisville, Lexington and Ft. Thomas.
WHAT: Home-cooked and scrumptiously catered meals AND a few words from the heart…about the blessings of recovery and the good work of The Morton Center over the past 27 years throughout Kentucky. Since we’re not renting a big ballroom and paying a keynote speaker, 100 percent of what you give goes to helping families at The Morton Center.
WHEN: The individual events will be held throughout October. Each host will decide the exact date. Probably dinner. Lunch is an option, too. Heck, so is breakfast, for that matter. It’s completely up to the hosts.
HOW MUCH: The 27/27 Event Series is meant to raise awareness as well as funds. Give as much as you can when you’re asked, and we’ll put every bit of your donation or pledge to use helping families throughout Kentucky cope with the effects of alcoholism and other addictions.
