The Morton Center’s evaluation and treatment programs are based on the concept that chemical dependency is a primary illness which affects all family members. Our adolescent services generally fall into three types of care:
- Evaluation and assessment
- Individual and family sessions
Here’s a closer look at our services for adolescents, ages 12 through 18.
Adolescent Early Recovery Program (Includes Intensive Outpatient Program):
For adolescents who are chemically dependent, this program provides an alternative to inpatient treatment. Intensive treatment is accompanied by group, expressive, family and individual therapy, as well as education, with decreasing intensity. This approach helps the adolescent to make the transition from treatment into recovery. Family participation in this program is strongly recommended. Billable through most insurance.
