Getting Started With Telehealth And Online Treatment For Addiction
Getting help for yourself or a loved one has never been easier or more convenient, and treatment can be accessed quickly, comfortably, and safely from your own home. All you need is a phone and an internet connection. When you call our resource team at 502-451-1221, a caring and compassionate member of our staff will set up your first appointment. Paperwork will be emailed to complete and sign, and an appointment will be scheduled for your assessment. You will speak with a skilled, professional therapist who will recommend the best level of care to meet your needs. In most instances, treatment can begin the very same day.
What Is Telehealth?
While The Morton Center has traditionally provided individualized, face-to-face treatment of Substance Use Disorders, in-office visits are not always possible or practical. Treatment in times of social crisis such as in a pandemic, serving clients with significant health and mobility issues, or meeting the needs of clients from a rural community, are examples of when telehealth services can be of great benefit. Our professionals are equipped and experienced in providing outpatient treatment for alcohol, drug addiction, and other co-occurring mental health disorders through telehealth technologies such as telephone, videoconferencing through portals such as Zoom, smartphone and computer applications such as PingMD, or other web-based tools. Through telehealth, we provide the same real-time compassionate care while safely distancing from convenient locations such as your home. Following strict confidentiality protocol and evidence-based practices, telehealth services are HIPAA compliant and most insurances are accepted.
What Services Are Provided?
The Morton Center provides the same Telehealth Services online as would be available in-house. Levels of care include the Adult Education Program (AEP), Early Recovery Program (IOP) Level 1, Early Recovery Program (IOP) Level 2, Continuing Care Programs, Concerned Persons Program, Adolescent Programs, Couples Programs, and Individual Therapy one-on-one with a professional therapist.
